2. System boiler central heating system
A system boiler is available in two types; a vented low-pressure and an unvented high-pressure system. This boiler system has an extra storage tank that helps maintain the hot water. Yes, this system has an additional hot water cylinder but most of the remaining components are situated inside the unit itself. A system boiler is cheaper, much faster, and more efficient than the conventional system. However, it does take more cupboard space. This type of boiler is ideal for a larger complex and if used in a smaller home, it wastes energy as not much hot water may be needed.
The unvented water heater is a sealed system. This also includes a pressure relief valve and a pressure gauge. These additional components eliminate the need for a feed and expansion tank.
3. Combi Boiler Heating Systems
In modern homes, a Combi Boiler is the heating system of choice for most. A Combi boiler heating system is an efficient and cost-effective alternative that also removes the need for an additional water tank. Combis use the main pressure water system and therefore do not need a water tank to be placed at a height. Another efficient additional feature is that they can instantly heat the water without needing any hot water cylinder. The fact that it is connected to the mains water supply means that you also do not need a water pump for a power shower.
Today, Combis are the popular choice because they are much more compact and can easily fit inside a cupboard all together. Its instant heating is another one of its perks. This means that you can rely on it in cases of emergencies without having to wait for the water to heat. These heaters are also available in a number of different types. These boilers are available in electric, gas, and oil variants while all others usually only have a single power option. This makes it possible to install a new Combi boiler without having to change the power system.
There are numerous choices of heating systems in the market from which you can choose. Among these various boiler types and options, a good choice is a vertical radiator that is a very compact device and equally efficient as a traditional radiator.
