The Orlando Terrorist Attack was the worst mass shooting in modern America. As soon as the tragedy occurred, citizens looked towards our nation’s leaders to see how they would react. Barack Obama? REGATED’s Shane Ashton reported that “During his [Obama’s] speech, he gave condolences to the families for the death of their loved ones, but was quick to place the blame for this at the feet of those who support the Second Amendment.”
Clinton’s reaction? Much of the same. She found a way to blame it on Trump instead of what it really was — radical islamic terrorism. And it really hurt her polls with the gay community.
The day before the Orlando attack, on June 12th, Reuters reported that Hillary Clinton had 65% of the gay community’s vote:
And most recently? They have TANKED. Hillary Clinton now falls down to 41% support from the gay community. The tragedy caused more people to go back and reevaluate who’s really on their side:
Support for Trump is up by 7% in the gay community. But you can see how truly terrified Hillary Clinton must be right now by looking at the live graph:
The blue lines and dots represents Hillary Clinton’s support from the gay community. Yellow is other / undecided / won’t vote, and red is Donald Trump. As you can see, gay voters are methodically DUMPING Hillary Clinton. This is unheard of — the Democratic Party we’re the ones who were always supposed to defend the gay community no matter what. Donald Trump has been the only candidate to protect the rights and safety of EVERY citizen; and loves the gay community.
Our own Julian Wan, an advocate for gay rights, explains the situation that the United States is currently dealing with:
My friends and fellow gay men — we need to wake up to this reality. We are such a powerful and ubiquitous voice in American society, and we can’t sit idly by and allow our voices to be co-opted for gun control, or other asinine non-solutions to serious global threats. Until we open our eyes, we are sitting ducks, plugging our ears and pretending ‘love’ conquers all. So as the revolver barrel spins, we’re left to wonder, “Who’s next?”
The whole myth that the gay community does not like Donald Trump is a total lie. I witnessed people from every possible group in the United States present at a Trump rally. All we have to do now is wait for these people to decide to vote for the one candidate who has vowed to protect them.
This is the beginning of Clinton’s demise. Which community will she ignore and divide next?
